In Robert Kiyosaki's "Cash Flow Quadrant".There are four types of people who make up the world of business:

1.) Employee - Working for someone else. The reality here is: it is impossible for you to become rich by being an employee alone!

2.) Self-employed or Small Business Owner - Where a person owns his own job and is his own boss. Example: Sari-sari Store. This is also called "sacrifice" by Robert Kiyosaki because you spend too much hours in this business and doing it alone.

3.) Business Owner - Where a person owns a "system" of making money, rather than a job to make money. Example: MLM-this is a "people-helping-people business." This is what Robert Kiyosaki recommends for those who wants to enter into business with a small capital. Thus, you will enjoy the benefits of "passive income" (income while sleeping, enjoying a vacation etc.) where money and people will work for you, and not you working for the money.

4.) Investor - Spending money in order to receive a larger payout in return. Only a multi-millionaire is qualified here.

Employment vs MLM Business (Binary System)

Here's why MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is a good source of income and alternative to employment. Let's start by comparing why marketers are better off than corporate executives or employees.

*Employment*

1.) Jobs are not abundantly available because of continous downsizing and rightsizing.
2.) Jobs are not necessarily what you want because there may be no opening yet for the job you like.
3.) Application to a job is not automatically accepted because of the required interview and screening process.
4.) Jobs are not based on your time because they have fixed hours. For example 8am-5pm.

1.) Part Time 3-5 hrs / once or twice a week! (Good for Students and Employees)

Linear Income (Salary - Job)

There are only two types of income in this world: Linear and Exponential.

Linear income is like a piece of bread. You eat it and it's gone. After that, you have to look for another piece of bread.

Exponential income is like a seed. You can't eat it at first, but if you plant it and wait for a while, you can eat as much fruit as you want to.

Many Filipinos today have only one income stream - their jobs - and jobs are linear income.

Some Filipinos are self-employed and run a small business like sari-sari store. Sadly this business is linear income too. Unless they work, they don't earn.

What is exponential income? Exponential income - also called passive income - means earning for a very long time from work you did only once at the very start. That's what a marketer (MLM) earns when she builds a downline organization.

Let us assume that one company gives you 2 options either to work for a job with a salary of P12,000 a month or to manage a business paying you 1 peso for the first month and double it every month for 2 years. What do you think would you choose?

Common Misconceptions: What Multi-Level Marketing is Not!


Some of the common misconceptions on the multi-level marketing concept largely brought about by lack of adequate knowledge on the issue. Impressions are based on limited experience of people met peddling illegal pyramiding schemes and using multi-level marketing only as their "front".
