*the Sig p228s based from credible reviews are much more easier to handle and lighter than the p229 and the other sigs because of the very well engineered stamped slide which they have designed thus, making the Sig P228 the best among the Sig Pistols ever made. Production of these P228's for the civilian market has stopped due to the tediousness of producing a p228 and a p229 which almost has the same dimensions making the Sig p228 a highly collectible pistol.
