Sodium Ascorbate is buffered (non-acidic) and will not contribute to gastric irritation in acid-sensitive persons. Sodium Ascorbate is synthesized from a combination of Sodium Bicarbonate and Ascorbic Acid to form Sodium Ascorbate. NOW Sodium Ascorbate Powder is an inexpensive buffered form of Vitamin C and is Pharmaceutical Grade. Contains no sugar, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 1/2 level teaspoon daily, preferably with meals. Consider taking this product in combination with NOW Bioflavonoids, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Enzogenol®.
