Job Title: Heavy Equipment (Caterpillar) Supervisor

Qualification:

• Male
• 25 – 60 years old
• Must have worked on Caterpillar heavy equipment for 10 years and have some dealer training.
• High school/College pass/degree or good trade qualification in technical engineering.
• Has been a supervisor for at least 3/5 years and can manage 4/10 local staff.
• Can use and work with computers (word/excel/project manager)
• Driving license from home country would be useful.
• Must be physically fit.

Job Duties:

• Assign staff on a daily bases to complete preventative maintenance tasks ensuring work is completed in accordance with CCA company policy.
• Records all service hours and plans service schedules with construction or project managers.
• Evaluates repair time and communicates this to the construction or project managers.
• Oversees the overhauling and rebuilding of: Caterpillar engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems.
• Trouble-shoot with Cat ET (electronic technician) and understand ACERT.
• Knowledge of: Caterpillar 730,345,235,330 and 320 and the 3516 engine would be a plus.
• Under health and safety within repairing heavy equipment.
• Order spare parts and under how to read the technical manuals.
• Write equipment reports on MS and file.
• Ensure spare parts stock level is kept to within their reorder points.
