Job Title: HVAC/AC Technician

NO AGE limit

High School Graduate

High school diploma and Trade School Certificate in HVAC System or AC & Refrigeration Course..

Can read and comprehend basic electrical circuit diagram, drawings, manuals and documents.

Knowledge of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.

Ability to read, understands, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

Ability to perform basic electrical and gas welding operations

Ability to read, understands, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

Can determine the causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.

Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Job description:

To perform routine maintenance that involves servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning, or testing of HVAC equipments.

Related machines that operate primarily because of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles.

Participates in the development of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system modification plans, estimates jobs for remodel activities.

Performs seasonal overhauls and transitions of systems to and from heating/cooling.

To assemble, install, test, HVAC equipments, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools and to construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.

To diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes and hand tools to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.

Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes and provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.

To perform the task and work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures with utmost safety.

Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

With at least 1-2 yrs Working Experience as HVAC Technician
