Values Inculcation Program Philippines

We are a group of registered counselors from the University of the Philippines, John Robert Powers,  Ateneo De Manila University & Miriam College, designing training modules and conducting workshops seminars geared towards personal and professional growth. While utilizing lecturettes and structured learning exercises, our participants are assisted to become self-empowered individuals working towards a common goal, adequately satisfying their needs, establishing a healthy working relationship and creating a dynamic organization.

Our group has handled workshops to different populations ranging from children to adults,  in different schools and companies and travelled out of town to conduct workshops in Davao, Cebu, Bohol, Dipolog, etc

The Values Inculcation Model (VIM, 2008), created to bridge the gap between identifying values and inculcating them will be used also as a point of reference for the proposed program. It was developed over 10 years of working with organizations across continents. This  practical model supports leaders by ensuring that the values directly translate to employees’ behavior leading to enhanced organizational performance & productivity.  This is  related to a Zen saying that "The way we do anything is the way we do everything." One translation is that if an organization is known to be a good internal communicator and departments work in harmony, then the customer will receive quality service as this internal  attitude is reflected externally.

 In the same vein, behavioural psychology shows a clear relationship between values, attitudes and behaviors. By facilitating dynamism in people’s behaviors, the organization can start to influence results. Values dictate attitude, which in turn dictates behavior, leading to  organizational productivity, and addressing the mission & vision of the company.   

The  lecturettes, activities, and processing sessions  of this workshop will highlight the non-cognitive or personal attributes (values) which should be taught and promoted like any other technical skills.  Employees will be successful in their careers not only because they have the technical expertise but also a strong foundation of communication skills, personal well-being, self-discipline, integrity,  and moderate in their outlook and actions.
