What is G-Cash?
G-Cash is a service of Globe Handyphone. It functions very much like a bank. It allows you to pay for your bills, shop, send load, and send money.
My service is prepaid. Will that be a problem?
It doesn't matter whether you're a post-paid or prepaid subscriber. What matters is you have money! G-Cash is like your very own wallet or bank account. It has its own balance independent of the money in your prepaid or postpaid account.
For example, you're a prepaid subscriber and you have P25.00 load left, but you have P2,000 in your G-Cash account. You need to send P1,000 to someone. All you have to do is text certain keywords to G-Cash and P1,000 will be deducted from your balance. Your prepaid load will remain intact.
Are there charges for this service?
You will be charged P2.50 per text, so make sure you have enough balance in your account to send G-Cash!
What are the steps to paying through G-Cash?
Follow these easy steps:
1. Register to G-Cash
Text: REG(space) any 4-digit PIN/Your Mother's Maiden Name/Your First Name/Your Last Name/Your Address, and send to 2882
2. Remember that there should be no spaces before and after the slashes (/).
3. Make sure your name is the same on your ID. You'll need to show your ID to the Globe business center staff to do transactions.
I'm not a Globe subscriber. Can I still pay through G-Cash?
Yes! As mentioned, G-Cash is like a bank so just go to your nearest Globe business center and deposit payment there. How?
1. The guard will ask you what you're doing there. You reply, "G-Cash. Cash in."
2. Give the guard your ID and he'll give you a G-Cash form to fill out while he's off photocopying your ID. He'll give it back to you asap.
3. Just write down your info (name, address, amount to be deposited, and who you're sending it to) and wait for your turn to be called.4. Once called to the counter, submit the form, your photocopied ID, and the cash to be deposited. And that's it!
