This Site will be providing free social services to the members at the start but expected to be evolved into a platform and software as service [Saas] in the 2nd or 3rd year of its operation.
Brief Executive Summary: If not a multi-million dollar business, certainly it can be a multi-million dollar buy-out (myspace = $750 million) and (facebook = $2 Billion?). We will NOT start the development in the garage or dorm unlike the above mentioned popular social-networking sites but here: www.korphil.ph
Korphil has state of the art technology starting from its facilities, IBM stacks of servers, Digital Redundant Power Back Up System, and of course 100mbps [T1] broadband connection. This is a multi-million peso grand of the government of Korea to the Philippines and Quezon City government is now managing it out from TESDA.
I already fuzed this resources to this particular project. We are expected to start building the infrastructure layer by September 27 Saturday, 2008. Two weeks or so, we'll begin our basic design and detail design about the site concept. Next month or so we will start the coding stage until couple of months and probably by the last several months testings and the most awaited alpha and beta deployment. While development we will keep you updated thru pictures that we will post here and somewhere and of course videos - > YouTube channel in this instance.
Every level of milestone we accomplished will be captured and we want you to see that.
Other private business institutions will follow later on for sponsorship and will keep you updated when it happens.
Project Duration: Projected 6 mons. Number of hours: 384 Working Mode: Only 2 days a week saturday and sunday average developement time per day 8hrs but it could be a sleepless night if there's pizza, coffee, or cola at our side.
We will launch the site hopefully by 2nd quarter of 2009 next year. Hope you can be with us when it happens.

Would that kind of profit sharing passed the requirements of Venture Capitalists? I think not.
Now, though I believe its not bad to get yourself that kind of luxury in a very start-up stage, it is very telling of your personality. You don't even have a program running and yet you want to use state of the art facilities? How do you think your platform will really take off the ground?

First, you have posted your ad here in sulit. If you find my comment annoying, you might very well post your ad at ebay or buy and sell mags.
Second, you believe too much of yourself and your project. Yet, if all the very smart programmers in the world would think the same way, would your proposition standS-out? FYI: there were other networking ventures that have not successfully took off the ground (including one in the philippines). Even multiply.com proponent admits they have a hard time competing in their market.
Third, did you mention you are now renting the facility in the post? I did not see it. Please clarify. If what you are driving at is that you have already got a verbal agreement that if you're project will push-through, you can use korphil, I believe that does not imply bankability of the project per se. What would they lose if the program would not be accepted by the market? Do they ask you for a royalty so that they would be concerned for your project's success? I believe not. You only ought to pay them rent.
Fourth, VCs come in different backgrounds and personalities. What would you call to the people you are asking here to invest in your project? Idiots? Further, I believe you trust to much the project you trumpeted it offers a multimillion return. So, would not anyone be enticed to take a second look at you proposal?
Fifth, Japanese quality. I did not work in a Japanese company. But basically, their work ethics could be seen on many quality centric programs, i.e Six Sigma, JIT, etc. Now, had you not been exposed to other of their qualities? Thriftiness? Harwork?
Sixth, what have I understood at your post is that you are start-up, you are going to develop a platform that would be classified as a networking site, you need money to support your endeavor, you want to locate your development efforts at korphil, and YOU WANT INVESTORS TO TAKE ALL THE RISK!
