LICORICE grows wild in some parts of Europe and Asia. It is a well known, widely used, effective whitening ingredient.

HOW IT WORKS
The main active ingredient found in LICORICE extract for skin bleaching is glabridin.
Glabridin inhibits pigmentation by preventing tyrosinase activation. Licorice inhibits UV-B induced pigmentation (cause of skin darkening) and erythema.
