MODULE 1: Introduction to Oracle9i: SQL (2.5 months)This course offers students an extensive introduction to data server technology.  The class covers the concepts of relational databases and the powerful SQL.  Students are taught to create and maintain database objects and store, retrieve and manipulate data.  In addition, students learn to create SQL blocks of application code that can be shared by multiple forms, reports, and data management applications.  Demonstrations and hands-on practice reinforce the fundamental concepts.
Exam Applicable:  Introduction to Oracle9i: SQL (Exam # 1Z1-007) 

MODULE 2: Oracle 9i: Database Fundamentals I (2.5 months)Oracle DBAs manage the industry’s most advanced information system and command some of the highest salaries.  This course is your first step towards success as an Oracle professional, designed to give you a firm foundation in basic database tasks.  In this class, participants will learn how to design, create and maintain an Oracle database.
Exam Applicable:Oracle 9i: Database Fundamentals I (Exam # 1Z1-031) 

LEVEL II: Professional Level

MODULE 3: Oracle 9i Database: Fundamentals II (2.5 months)Develop your ability to manage the industry’s most advanced information system.  Learn several methods to backup and to recover your Oracle database.  Simplify your duties with Oracle Recovery Manager.  This course gives the Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) a firm foundation in Oracle Net administration and backup and recovery operations.
Exam Applicable:Oracle 9i: Database Fundamentals II (Exam # 1Z1-032) 

MODULE 4: Oracle 9i Database: Performance Tuning (2.5 months)Database performance tuning is critical to any effective information system.  Reducing wait times, increasing users’ productivity and maximizing the performance of your Oracle database are critical to success.
