Moving forward, Susdev aims to be recognized as one of the leading industrial waste treaters in the industry.
Susdev was established to provide after sales services to the direct and indirect customers of GlyâSolv Ventures Corporation (GSVC) in the disposal of its chemical solvent wastes including Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and waste oils.
Susdev is a duly licensed domestic corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission under SEC Reg. No. A200110788 with its main plant address at Barangay Matungao, Bulacan, Bulacan.
Today, Susdev Waste Management Corporation is accredited by EMB â DENR as hazardous waste transporter with Transporter Registration No. 03-14-0006 and also as a Treatment, Storage, and Disposal (TSD) Facility with DENR ID: TR 03-14-0008 with Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) Reference No. 03BU-0502-25-095-120A.
SUSDEV PLANT PROFILE
1) The plant has an estimated monthly capacity of 333,000 liters.
2) All personnel involved are properly trained on chemical products, know-how and safe handling to prevent untoward incidents.
3) We are in partnership with a transporter who carries a Permit to Transport Hazardous Wastes secured from the Environmental Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
4) Proper labeling, handling and manifest of waste are strictly observed. For monitoring purposes, manifests are filed at the Susdev office. Transporters, generators, and the EMB Regional office are also provided with monthly reports.
5) Aside from offering employment opportunities and contributing to the income of the municipality where it operates, beneficial impacts of the project include the proper treatment and disposal of waste solvents instead of polluting the environment.

1-Unit 24,000 liters tank
1-Unit 20,000 liters tank
1-Unit 16,000 liters tank
5-Units 10,000 liters tank
1-Unit 4,000 liters tank
Waste Solvent Settling Tank
2,500 liters capacity with level indicator. Where untreated waste solvents are temporarily stored to remove suspended solids.
2 Unit Heating Kettle
Liquid from the Waste Solvent Settling Tank is then fed to this tank for treatment. The unit operations employed here is Batch Distillation capacity with temperature elements for monitoring and control. A jacketed vessel and uses thermal oil as heating medium.
Condenser /Cooling Tower
Used to cool down all the condensates from the heating kettle a cooling tower with a capacity of 100 TR.
Finished Product Tank
16,000 liters capacity is mainly used to temporarily store the treated solvents before it is drummed off for storage. Sampling of the product is done here for testing / analysis.
Diesel Fuel Fired Thermal Boiler
1,000,000 BTU capacity, used to heat the jacket of the heating kettle and for oil & bunker oil sludge process using thermal oil as medium.
Used Oil/Bunker Oil Sludge Separation Process Tank
At 10,000 liters capacity, this tank will be used for water and oil separation for treatment.
Water and Oil Separator/ WWTF A ten (10) stage process from water and oil separation and waste water treatment process prior to re-use in cooling tower and the excess use as greening of plants

WASTE TREATMENT PROCESS FLOW
SusDev has methodically been practicing resource recovery for a number of years. The plant has developed its proven technology in this field.
1) Waste solvents are picked up by accredited transporters from the waste generatorâs site to the waste treatment facility through hauler trucks. The transport of waste is covered by a Transport Permit issued by the EMB and a Transport Manifest Form. Waste solvents are placed in properly sealed and labeled drum containers and are manually unloaded in the plantâs staging area.
2) Waste solvents are then pumped to the Settling Tanks to remove any suspended particles before transfer to the Heating Kettle.
3) The waste solvents are then transferred by gravity to the Heating Kettle. The Diesel Fuel Fired Boiler is then started up to provide heat to the jacket of the Heating Kettle. The operating temperature of the Heating Kettle depends on the type of waste solvent to be treated, and the same goes with the operation of the Boiler.
4) Vapors are then condensed through the condenser that uses water as its cooling fluid. The condensates then are collected in the finished product tank where initial product sampling is done for testing / analysis. After approval, the product is then drummed off for storage.
C. USED OIL / BUNKER OIL SLUDGE PROCESS FLOW AND LAY-OUT
WASTE TREATMENT PROCESS FLOW
OIL RECOVERY
1. Used oil is picked up from the generatorâs site to be delivered at our facility through hauler trucks. A Transport Permit issued by EMB covers the transport of said waste.
2. Waste oil is placed in properly sealed and labeled drum containers and is manually unloaded in plantâs storage area.
3. The waste oil are batched and fed into the settling tank thru a feed pump. Contaminants (coarse particles and water) are allowed to settle down for a period of time until all heavy residues settle at the bottom through gravitation. Water is drained at the bottom of the tank and transferred at the water and oil separator and waste water treatment facility. This oil and water separator and waste water treatment plant has ten chambers: Treated Waste Water is recycled for the cooling system of distillation process of solvent and the excess it is utilized as greening the plants.
4. Recovered Oil from oil and water separator is pumped in into the stage one again for re-process to remove further impurities of oil.
5. The processed oil is collected in drums thru the outlet pump. Sample of reprocessed oil will be collected to determine its quality.
D. DECONTAMINATION OF CONTAMINATED CONTAINERS
DECONTAMINATION PROCESS
Contaminated drums / containers are subjected for pressure wash using solvent as surfactant or lime for used oil container. These are allowed to dry after washing.
Spent solvent used in washing undergoes recovery process. The plant is equipped with collecting trench for the spent decontamination used in washing. This serves as secondary containment to as not to be disposed directly to drainage.
