The Station-to-Station (double base) long range cordless phone system is simply a very powerful land line dial tone transmitter. This device can provide a wireless long range extension of your existing phone to a distant remote location of your choice. It can also handle data transfer like fax and dial-up internet.
Simply attach the main base to an existing landline, install the provided antenna, plug to a wall outlet and instantly you have a very powerful dial tone transmitter. For the sub base, install the antenna, connect a regular phone set with dial pad, plug to a wall outlet and instantly when you lift the phone reciever you will hear the dial tone of your landline connected to the main base. The sub base is a wireless extension of your main base. We tested this to work up to 50Kms. Maximum range depends on the height of the antenna and the surrounding terrain.
Another very useful feature of the long range phone is the intercom system. The main base can call the sub base and vice versa via the intercom system. The main base is also a speaker phone with a microphone when using the intercom. This makes communication between bases as easy as one touch of a button. The intercom is also fully independent from the land line. Meaning even if there is no land line available, two way communication can still be established between bases. The best of it all is that it is all free, absolutely no airtime charges. Just the regular bill you've always been paying. So you can use this 24/7 with no worry of added bills. Just think of it as a regular extension with no wires.
