Description of Benefits
PERSONAL ACCIDENT
Provides up to P6,600,000 or US$200,000 lump sum benefit for death of disablement due to accident suffered during the trip
MEDICAL EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT
Reimburses you for the cost of qualified medical treatment, surgery and hospitalization that arises from accidental injury or sickness occurring during the journey abroad and for accidental medical expenses incurred while traveling within the Philippines
EMERGENCY MEDICAL EVACUATION AND REPATRIATION
ISOS will arrange transportation and payment for medical evacuation and repatriation
HOSPITAL CONFINEMENT BENEFIT
Cash benefit of US$75 OR P2,500 per day will be paid in the event you are hospitalized abroad during your journey
TRIP CURTAILMENT
Covers the additional traveling and hotel expenses incurred or forfeited as a result of trip termination arising from:
TRIP CANCELLATION / LOSS OF DEPOSITS
Covers for the loss of travel fare and/or hotel expense paid in advance for trips that are cancelled due to the following reasons:
FLIGHT DELAY
Reimburses you if the aircraft/vessel you are schedule to travel on is cancelled/delayed for more than 12 hours from the time specified in the itinerary due to adverse weather conditions, strike, hijacking, industrial action or mechanical derangement of the aircraft or sea vessel
BAGGAGE DELAY
Reimburses you for purchases of necessary clothing and toiletries of checked-in luggage is delayed for more than 12 hours
LOSS OF BAGGAGE
Reimburses you for:
Loss – Pays for actual replacement cost of the baggage lost due to theft.
Damage – Repairs or reinstates baggage (with allowance for depreciation, wear and tear) while the possession of the common carrier or hotel staff
PERSONAL LIABILITY
We will indemnify you for legal liability to a third party and the relevant legal cost up to the limit stated in the sxhedule of coverages arising from the journey as a result of accidental injury or loss of or damage to property
LOSS OF TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
We will pay for the costs of obtaining a replacement passport, travel tickets and other travel documents lost as well as additional travel expenses and hotel accommodation incurred as a result of robbery, burglary and theft
STAFF REPLACEMENT
In the event you are hospitalized due to serious injury or sickness or repatriated back to the Philippines and are unable to continue on your planned business journey, we will pay the reasonable additional travel and accommodation expenses to send an alternative member of your staff to complete the assignment you were originally schedules for.
IMPORTANT POLICY CONDITIONS
EXCLUSIONS
This plan shall not cover any loss resulting from childbirth, miscarriage or complications therefrom, routine physical examination, cosmetic or plastic surgery except as a result of injury, any mental or nervous disorders, congenital anomalies, suicide or self-inflicted injuries, war, military service and pre-existing conditions. This policy will not cover any loss, injury damage or legall liability arising directly or indirectly from travel in, to or through Afghanistan, Cuba, Democratic Replublic of Congo, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, Sudan or Syria; if the Insured Person is a terrorist, a member of a terrorist organization, a narcotic trafficker, or a purveyor of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons.
