HVAC Engineer

Our client, a major international oil and gas contractor, is expanding and has recently secured long term contracts with a leading International E&P Operator. They seek an HVAC Engineer of the highest caliber to work with their team in North Angola, Africa.

Compulsory:

• Must have 5 years experience in offshore industry.
• Must be qualified in running and maintaining Chilled Water Systems & DX systems.
• Must have sheet metal / ducting work experience.
• Knowledgeable on offshore electrical and safety. 
• Finished all the needed courses to go offshore – HEUT / HGS certifications are most important.
• Must be a practical engineer, able to find and fix faults and charge machines himself.
• Must be willing to work alone for now until the need for an assistant technician arises.
• Demonstrated and excellent reporting skills, and paperwork must be impeccable.
• Possessing good interpersonal and communication skills among management and peers.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Highly Regarded:

• International experience.
• Highly knowledgeable in his job and willing to get stuck in and get his hands dirty.
