Correction. We have a Hockey team here; the thing is it is not as prominent as a basketball or a volleyball team.

The snag can be of several reasons:
1. Selected/Limited place for practice or competition.
2. Unlike ice skating, hockey is a bit expensive sport as it requires additional gadget and some other stuff relating to sports.
3. Not popular, maybe because of location/geography, climate, etc.  Even in the US, hockey is not popular in some states. It may be big time in Minnesota, but people of Alabama find it boring.


Just my thoughts.

Meron po.  
May mga ice hockey groups.  Usually kung saan may ice skating rink (MOA, gamol).  Tanong mo na lang dun kung ano ang regular sched nila.  Ang di ko alam is kung may street hockey tayo dito.

meron naman pero hindi kasi siya sikat eh kasi ang laro na yan dapat nasa ice skating rink ka pa maglalaro , lam mo naman sa pinas hindi nagyeyelo kaya sa artificial ice rink nalang ..ang equipments na gamit mo eh sa abroad pa manggagaling..

hindi lang sa ice ang hockey, kahit wala pwede, siguro dahil mahal ang gamit at dapat talagang nakaprotective suit ka, samantalang basketball, sapatos lang at laruan nagkatalo na, kahit pudpud na ang bola.
