The Only Christian Country in Asia Philippines

Hindi yata Christian Country ang Philippines, nakabasa ako ng Bill Board sa MIA Rd. Ang sabi Welcome to Marian Country. Kaya hindi the only Christian Country in Asia, the only Marian Country, mga mamayan na naniniwala at sumasamba kay Maria.

Marian Country na ba ngayon ang bansag ng Pilipinas? Hindi na ba the only christian country in asia?

Gawa gawa lang mga makakakwarta na mga deboto kay mama mary ang billboard na yon. at mabuti natanggal na yon.

But I don't believe that the Philippines is the only country in Asia. Sabi nga ng British Embassy isa sa nakakatakot na bansa ang Philippines.

no there are 4 Christian Countries in Asia. Cyprus(if you consider it in Asia), East Timor, South Korea and Philippines.

ha,ha,ha Christian country daw? Hindi kaya mas maganda kung jueting or a country of servants na lang?

Naniniwala po ba kayo na ang Pilipinas is the only Christian Country in Asia. Just base your opinion sa mga pinaggagawa ng mga leaders natin?

kristo country nga...... kristo sabungan .... sugalan at iba pa.   wala bago.

i believe so. kasi tayo major population natin is christian. eh yung ibang country hindi naman.

christian=follower of Christ, to be a christian is to obey and follow His commandments
syempre, matatawag lang naman na totoong kristyano ka, kung dumaan ka sa proseso na nasa bibliya (gaya ng baptismo). kung nag-shortcut ka, di ka dapat na tawagin christian. Sa Pilipinas maraming klase ng religion, ganun din naman sa ibang bansa. Marami sa relihiyon na ito, ay peke. o taliwas sa bibliya.Ibig kong sabihin, bagaman maraming relihiyon sa Pilipinas, masasabi ko na, kakaunti lang ang matatawag na totoong kristiyano.Ganun din naman sa ibang Asian countries, kakaunti lang din.

ayokong gamitin ang salitang "true christian" kase maling gamitin ito, pero para ma differentiate sa peke, gamitin ko na rin. uulitin ko lang, may proseso kase para masabi na true christian ka.

Ang marami sa Pilipinas, ang Roman Catholic Church, pinakamalaking relihiyon ito. pero hindi ko masasabi na totoong kristiyano ang mga ito. (maaaring sa aral o turo, kaya ko nasabi)

this is a prophecy, sa Pilipinas may mga kristiyano na "will Glorify Him" or will offer thanksgiving to Him.

Ako hindi rin ako naniniwala na the Philippines is the Number 1 (not only) Christian nation in Asia... simple lang ang rationale ko: "How can we also be the most (#1) Corrupt Nation in Asia kung #1 Christian nation rin tayo?" They are totally mutually exclusive... Probably that statement is just the type (variants of Christianity) of religion most Pinoys belong to... but that doesn't necessarily mean they are 100% true to their beliefs... mas matitino pa nga yung mga Christian (non-Pinoy) friends ko sa Singapore dati... iba kasi sila converts from other religions like Buddhism, Taoism, etc... kaya very eager sila sa newfound Christian faith unlike most Pinoys na kinalakhan lang ito at karaniwang neglected na...

 

I think if they are basing the title to the percentage of religions, then that statement is true.

Technically tayo nga kase more than 50% or even higher and christian sa bansa, predominantly christian talaga ang pilipinas unlike in other Asian country na Hindu, Budhist or Islam ang predominant religion. Yun ang dahilan kung bakit sinabing only christian country in Asia ang Pilipinas. Pero di dapat "only" ang statement kundi "predominantly".

If you read the story of the good samaritan, it tells a story of how people act, regardless on who they are.
The Philippines could be a Country of Christians, but do we do what Christians are suppose to do?

Siguro pag nag-check sila sa Facebook kung anong religion malamang tama yan... pero kung aalamin natin kung ano ang totoong STATUS ng spiritual life ng mga Pinoy malamang eh... It's complicated...
