Sulit Gold (SG) or our paid virtual currency is a very important feature that can give tons of exposure to your advertisement which can result for more sales.  But sometimes, members need to make a sale first so that they have the money to get Sulit Gold and therefore make more sales.

With this, we are currently thinking of building a new feature that will allow members to exchange their products for Sulit Gold.  Once they already have SG in exchange of their products, they already have the means to get more exposure for their products, make more sales and have the means to buy more SG, and so on and so forth.  In this case, the products are directly exchanged to Sulit.com.ph, and it is Sulit.com.ph who will dispose of the product.

I would like to get the feedback from our members regarding this idea.

Thank you.

Imagine these scenarios:

Scenario A (without Sulit Gold Exchange):
Seller is selling a computer mouse for Php 1000.  Buyer bought computer mouse for Php 1000. Seller buys Php 1000 worth of SG.

Scenario B (with Sulit Gold Exchange)
Seller is selling a computer mouse for Php 1000.  Seller put it up in Sulit Gold Exchange.  Sulit.com.ph marks the price for sale for Php 900. Buyer pays Sulit.com.ph for the computer mouse for Php 900.  Seller gets 1000 SG.

In both scenario, the seller was able to sell the product and gets 1000 SG.

What are the advantages of Scenario B?
1.) Buyer got the computer mouse at a discount (only Php 900 instead of Php 1000)
2.) Any trust concern has been solved because the buyer will send the payment to Sulit.com.ph and the buyer has the assurance that he will get the his money back if the item did not reach him.
3.) Because of the first 2 advantages above, the seller can sell his item faster (1) discounted; (2) buying is safer but he gets the same thing which is 1000 SG.

FAQ

1.) Can we encash the SG earned from this feature?

SG is not meant for such.  This new feature is only meant for sellers who wanted to buy Sulit Gold to promote their products but currently do not have the capability to do so without selling first any of their products.

2.) Will Sulit keep the products for sale?

NO.  Sulit will not keep the products.  The seller will still keep it until the product is bought by a buyer.  Once the payment is made by the buyer to Sulit, Sulit will inform the seller where to ship the item.  When the shipment has been confirmed, the corresponding Sulit Gold is awarded to the seller.

3.) Is this applicable for my product?

This is applicable for products that can be sold online and shipped to the buyer.  These are products that do not require a personal meet-up between the buyer and the seller.

Questions
1. Pano ang pricing ng producs? Will sulit buy the products at sellers' buying price? or makikipaghaggle? Hehe
2. How much ibebenta ni Sulit yung product? Same as selling price ng seller or mas mababa? Kasi baka magkaron ng price war pag di sila pareho.

1.) Same as the selling price.

2.) Sulit.com.ph can lower the price to be able to sell the product.  Do not think of this as a price war or else you will not see the benefit of it.  This is actually a win-win situation for the seller, Sulit and the buyer.

Yup.  We actually cannot think of how to control the market using SC as it can be generated indefinitely.  That is the reason why the SC Marketplace did not push through (all scenarios that we thought of will result to chaos).

Somehow, I believe an SG Marketplace already has the "control" in place and will benefit the Seller, the Buyer and Sulit.com.ph.  Really a win-win-win situation for everyone involved.

I get your point. It's a really great idea. Great for us sellers. Pero nakikita ko rin yung dami ng added work sa side ng Sulit. Can't wait for this to be implemented :)

Yes dadami nga po ang added work pero it will encourage more people to use SG more for this purpose which is actually cash paid to Sulit and can no longer be encashed by the buyer nor the seller but can only be used to pay for Sulit Services. Actually its a Win-Win-Win situation!

i like this idea. mas involved ang sulit sa transactions like sa Ebay
this will help eliminate/lessen scams kung may third party involved
mas madaling mahuhuli ng sulit ang mga scammer in the process kaya win-win-win situation nga
kudos admin.

SG is not meant for such.  We do not have the necessary license to operate Sulit Gold in a wallet type currency which can be withdrawn.

This new feature is only meant for sellers who wanted to buy Sulit Gold to promote their products but currently do not have the capability to do so without selling first any of their products.

Please be advised that this is not a total involvement to the transaction as this feature will only be applicable for those looking to purchase SG.  Normal transactions that the seller is expecting cash will not be covered by this feature.

But of course, we are working to be able to provide a better transaction environment for our buyers and sellers in the future.
