TAKK Team's PURR-fectly SULIT Experience!

With almost a million registered members (or sulitizens) and over 1000 member sign ups daily, www.sulit.com.ph has become the fastest growing, most dynamic and most trusted online marketplace in the Philippines today. 

Sulit.com.ph will give you great deals and discounted prices on new and used products. They have a very wide selection of buy and sell categories, from that 1988 Philippine two peso coin which brings the nostalgia of your childhood days to computers, pets, cars and even houses. It is a site wherein the Sulitizens like me can buy, sell or in some negotiated instances, swap, products and services from one another.

SULIT from a Seller’s PURR-spective

I have an in-house cattery which specializes in breeding traditional Persian cats and kittens. Whenever I have Persian kittens available for new homes, I post their advertisements in a certain pet resource website. I believe that this is the best venue to meet fellow feline fanciers who may take interest in my Persian kittens until a colleague introduced to me Sulit.

I automatically shot her the “eye of skepticism”.  From the website’s name itself, it sounds like an auction house like eBay where worrying about the intricacies of placing bids can be so complicated. Turned out I was wrong. 

It only took me less than 5 minutes to sign up for an account and officially become a “Sulitizen”. You can log on at any time and go to your Member Dashboard to check if somebody sent you private messages inquiring about your ad. See the number of times your ad have been viewed to determine how your listings are doing – impact wise. Add new listings, edit them and delete them in a breeze. Verify how much SC you have. SC of Sulit Currency is an “internal currency” that allows Sulitizens to make use of the extra features of the website like “prioritize listings” or “ highlight ad”. It can be earned by doing several actions in your account (i.e. posting an ad, inviting members etc.) or by becoming a premium member.

Sulit helped me find good pet parents for my twelve (12) Persian kittens over the course of the summer of this year. All my ads from Sulit can be easily shared and linked with my cattery’s Facebook and Multiply web pages where my clients and fellow cat hobbyists can share experiences and knowledge about basic cat and kitten care from one another.

To date, there are 225 people who are actively interacting through my cattery’s Facebook page: “TAKK Team’s Post.” In a poll I conducted on October 10, 2010, I asked these people how they learned about my cattery. Out of all the respondents, 65% revealed that it was in Sulit.com.ph where they discovered my small business. The remaining 35% were divided to answers ranging from referrals, other classified ads websites and pet resource pages. Raw results are shown from the screenshot below:
