Sulit: The Silent Lifesaver

Two year ago, I still don’t have any idea about Sulit. That was also the time when my papa lost his job as a personal driver and that was month of February. March came and my father still doesn’t have a work. A big test came to our family that time when my younger brother got a very high fever and later on had been diagnosed to have dengue. It was a big test to our family because my father just lost his job and our family relies only on his income so we surely don’t have enough money for the hospitalization of my younger brother. As responsible parents, my papa and mama did everything they could, they asked for financial support from friends and relatives, they even applied for loans for the hospitalization of my brother. Because of that, they got enough money for the hospitalization until the doctor told my papa that another massive blood transfusion is needed for my brother to be saved. That was the time their money is not enough anymore and unfortunately, they don’t anyone to ask for money anymore because they have already everyone they know. That was also the time that I thought that I already have to help them. I tried thinking of anything where I can get money and the first thing that came into my mind was selling my iPod touch that my father gave to me as high school graduation gift. So I did so, I texted all my friends and classmates to sell my iPod but after a day no one is still interested in buying it. Until one of my classmates suggested that I try selling it in Sulit,the online buying and selling shop. That was my first time to know about Sulit. My classmate taught me how to use Sulit and so I tried advertising my iPod touch. On the next day, my brother’s operation is scheduled to be in four days and my parents are still looking for money. Until a miraculous event came to me, a very interested buyer texted me for my ipod so we scheduled a meet up in a mall immediately. That was my first time to experience a Sulit transaction.On that moment, when I got the cash from the buyer, my family’s problem in money was solved instantly, we immediately told the doctor to do my brother’s blood transfusion and fortunately, with the help of God and assistance of Sulit, my younger brother’s life was saved. From that moment, when I have helped saving my brother’s life until now, I am very grateful to Sulit for silently and unconsciously helping me. I think Sulit doesn’t know yet that they have helped me a lot so I’ll take this opportunity to tell Sulit that, “Yes, you have helped me, a very big help. Yes, you have saved lives. And from that bottom of my heart and my whole family’s heart, Maraming Salamat Sulit!”
