Useful Tips in Posting Advertisements Philippines

Things TO DO:

1. Learn how to use our Advanced Editor
2. Upload images. Ensure a thumbnail image is generated for your advertisement.
3. Indicate a price

5. Indicate complete product / service description
6. Use top or best keyword at the start of your advertisement title. Use top or best keyword in the description. Click Analysis link in your advertisement for more information.
7. Use Sulit Gold (SG) to add exposure to your advertisement
8. If you have a Facebook account, discuss your advertisement to Facebook by clicking Discuss on Facebook link. Also click "Like" button in your advertisement.
9. Add a map in your advertisement if you need to show a location. Click Add Map button in Map Geocode field to easily add a map.
10. Post in the correct category. If you cannot find the correct category where your advertisement must be posted, search for related advertisements and use the categories at the left of the results list to drill down to the related category.

14. Request for feedback from your customers / clients. If your client is already a member of Sulit.com.ph, click Request Feedback link in your advertisement and send the request to the member. If your client is not yet a member of Sulit.com.ph, invite him to be a member and then send a request for feedback using the Request Feedback link.
15. When posting advertisements outside Sulit.com.ph, generate your feedback badge and attach your badge to your advertisements. This can help increase your online reputation and quickly close sales even outside Sulit.com.ph.
16. If selling a second hand or used product, indicate the reason for selling.  It will make the transaction faster if the potential buyers know the reason why you are selling the item.
17. If you are looking to accept orders directly from your advertisement, you can easily add an order form and accept orders immediately.
18. Sign in regularly here in Sulit.com.ph so that your advertisements can get higher ranking in search results.

Things to AVOID:

1. Avoid using images with text as the only description. It cannot be indexed by both our internal and external search engines
2. Avoid grouping different items with different prices in the same advertisement
3. Avoid using multiple fonts, different font sizes, different font colors and different background colors. These should ONLY be used to highlight selected and few important parts of your advertisement description and NOT should be used for the entire description
4. Avoid centering entire description. Content centering must only be used for titles and labels
5. Avoid deleting your advertisement for the purpose of posting it again. Old content has more organic search value than new ones.
6. Avoid spamming or posting duplicate ads so that your account will not be penalized or worst, suspended.
7. Avoid using URL shortener (e.g. tinyurl, bitly, etc.)
8. Avoid cross-linking of ads (one ad linking to another ad) as this is NOT allowed
9. Avoid adding auto-playing videos or auto-playing flash content with sounds.  Let the user decide when they want to watch videos so they are prepared to hear the sounds.  Auto-playing sounds can make users go away from your page in an instant
