Updated SG Feature: Premium Listing

Please be advised that we have decided to make some changes to the Premium Listing feature.  Starting now, ranking of Premium Listing will be fixed depending on the following:

  • In search result listing, ranking will depend on the relevance of the advertisement to the search keywords and the number of Premium Listing exposure purchased for the advertisement.  If 2 advertisements have similar search keywords relevance, then the number of exposures will dictate the ranking of the advertisement with the higher exposure getting the higher spot.  So if your advertisement with 10 times exposure is the #1 result for search keyword "iphone," it will remain as #1 until another iphone-related advertisement bought more than 10 exposure.
     
  • In category listings without search keywords, the number of Premium Listing exposure will dictate the ranking of the advertisement.  If you have 20 times exposure and your advertisement is #1 under Appliances, it will remain #1 until another advertisement is posted under Appliances and bought more than 20 exposure
Hopefully, these changes will make it easier for you to understand how Premium Listing works compared to the previous system that relied on probaility.

Bakit hindi ko na po makita sa ads ko yong "get more exposure"? Plan ko po kasing dagdag ang exposure ng ads ko under premium listing.

sulit just keeps on improving, yes sir, relevance is important as i have done searches for little things i want to buy like gadgets and irrelevant ads like condo units (for example) are always the one seemingly popping out. Thank you for the huge amount of work that sulit puts into this legendary site and how it takes care of its own, maybe as citizens we can all do our part even in small ways, like even just trying to treat each citizen here as an ally :) *enemies and scammers do not apply as your neighbor) hehe

If you notice inconsistencies with the search results, please give me sample keywords with the inconsistent results so that we can study and analyze and improve our system more.
