"What are dengue fever symptoms and signs?

After being bitten by a mosquito carrying the virus, the incubation period ranges from three to 15 (usually five to eight) days before the signs and symptoms of dengue appear. Dengue starts with chills, headache, pain upon moving the eyes, and low backache. Painful aching in the legs and joints occurs during the first hours of illness. The temperature rises quickly as high as 104 F (40 C), with relative low heart rate (bradycardia) and low blood pressure (hypotension). The eyes become reddened. A flushing or pale pink rash comes over the face and then disappears. The glands (lymph nodes) in the neck and groin are often swollen.

Fever and other signs of dengue last for two to four days, followed by a rapid drop in body temperature (defervescence) with profuse sweating. This precedes a period with normal temperature and a sense of well-being that lasts about a day. A second rapid rise in temperature follows. A characteristic rash appears along with the fever and spreads from the extremities to cover the entire body except the face. The palms and soles may be bright red and swollen."

Ayan nakuha ko somewhere. Best option pa rin is to get the patient checked sa hospital.

Nakakaalarma ang pagdami ng dengue cases ngayun. Ingat po tayo mga ka sulitizens.

if the perticular suspected patient starts showing signs like intermitent fever, sore throat, body aches, severe headache.. then i guess try tying a rubber band or theraband on the patient's arms & check for rashes result..for safety measures, have the patient undergo dengue tests to complete & confirm diagnosis..it's better to know it early than late..

ito ang mga sintomas po ng dengue:

1. May lagnat
2. nangangaligkig at giniginaw
3. masakit po ang mata pag gumagalaw
4. masakit ang ibabang bahagi ng likod
5. Masakit ang mga hita at mga kasukasuan
6. Mataas ang lagnat na umaabot sa 40degrees tapos mabagal ang pagtibok ng puso
7. mapula ang mata
8. may rashes sa mukha tapos nawawala
9. paggrabe na po ang dengue dumadami na po ang rashes sa katawan.

Ibang kasagutan:
Pagdudugo ng ilong, pagkakasakit ng 2 linggo, pagsusuka at pamumula ng mata.

mababa ang blood platelet level..

pero sa totoo lang ang dami nang solution kung pagpapataas lang ng platelet level ang solusyon kasama na diyan ang tawa tawa..... minsan narinig ko yung dahon ng malunggay o malunggay capsule pwede na basta pero dapat as mainom as early as possible

Basta we have to be on the look out lagi...if there are symptoms, we should see the doctor...para maka-iwas sa danger ng dengue.

3x na ako na dengue,,usually high fever pero wla nman ubo and sipon then pink spots...

minsan baba taas ang lagnat ng isang may dengue .. then rashes.. 

pag may hinala kayong may denque ang iyong mga anak or sarili niyo, wag muna kayo kumain ng mga dark colored food para maassess niyo ang sarili niyong pupu.. danger symptoms ng isang dengue ay bleeding through nose, mouth at anus.. ;) more on tubig din dahil pwd madulot yan ng dehydration, more on vitamin c.. ;) rich in vitamin C foods.. ;)
