MLM is a business. Negosyo ito. Parang hindi bagay na criteria ang "helping people". At saka, the phrase "helping people" is rather imprecise esp. if the act is expected. For example, in a company, I expect my boss to pay me on time. I expect him to advertise our products. I expect him to provide after sales support. I expect him do a lot of things. Duty niya yun. I don't have to look at it as "helping" me.
i respect your opinion, but mlm its not all about making money, building relationship and inspiring others to be at their best.....financial investment turn to emotional investment....uplifting life of others and give them opportunity to be theirselves and expand their potential...
Your statement will make sense if you assume that I don't care about people and I am not helpful. Helping people is a given. It goes to your character. So, in business, I'm wondering why a person will have to emphasize this to close a sale.
I remember two people in my life who talked that way and emphasized that they were doing this because we were friends and that they were helping me. Both of them ruined my business and didn't have any scruples about doing it.
So, this "helping people" line is a red flag for me. The speaker either appear insincere or amateurish. Either way, these words don't inspire confidence and have the opposit effect.
the reason why other continue to fail they believe that outside of them is responsible for their result...
we are responsible for our situation,
You shifted arguments. And started another line of reasoning.
By the way, I'll continue to post comments because I have something to say and I happen to be familiar with your line of reasoning. But I'm glad you brought it up because your entire premise is not entirely true and I happen to know why. The answer is found in
"systems thinking" literature. The more popular in recent years is Peter Senge's book,
The Fifth Discipline.
In that book, he discussed that failures can be attributed to
systems and how they were designed. Although MLM is not discussed in the book, after analyzing MLM as a system, I can only conclude that it is a poorly designed distribution and/or sales system. It explains a lot why most MLM's disappeared in the market.
The main reason is system failure and not the individual's lack of an inner sense of responsibility. After we eliminated all the likely suspects, then what is left is the obvious answer and most likely culprit.
