I hope this finds you all well.
I am not quite sure if this is the right way, but it's my first time to write or start a thread in a forum.
I was just wondering if anyone can help.
You see, when I was no more than three I think,
I've witnessed a tragic car accident, two cars, head-on collision in Highway 54, now EDSA, just in front of the DOLMAR Building.
The accident happened in the early 70s.
Each car has a the whole family (I believe, but better if not the whole, it would be a great relief).
Unfortunately, no one had survived the accident as they were all burned to death -
EXCEPT for a little puppy dog that was let out by the little girl on one car.
The girl was about my same age.
She had rolled the window down just enough so she could let the puppy go out.
What's really poignant at that point was while the dog was running away, it kept looking back at the little girl in the car.
I remember almost all the construction men (as they were constructing the DOLMAR Bldg) went out the road to try to put out the fire
on the two cars, but it was all helpless and hopeless at the same time since the impact was big and fast enough that eventually set the two cars ablazed.
I saw the peole in both cars wailed and charred to death instantly. We all watched and stood there, hopeless.
What had striked me most at the time was this little girl who had done the most honorable thing to save her puppy.
I remember how she gave comfort to the puppy even before she was able to let it out through the small opening in the window, which she apparently rolled down a little, as much as she could.
I remember her face clearly and even dreamed of her every once in a while.... until now.
I certainly wish that some one may be able to shed light on the identity of the victims, particularly the little girl.
So, I could put a closure to this where I sometimes suffer from guilt, still, and haunt me in my dreams.
I would really appreciate any one who can try to help.
