pera14 Sulitizen-to-be 8 posts | Hi, good day! I have an account w/ citiseconline.com, based sa EIP list nila, okay sa long term ang ALI, I started last nov.2011. Thanks!! |

I think the fair mrket value of ali is 24..however based on rsi overbought na sya..so pahinga muna sya then may possibility na magrally ulit up:) i 1 member thinks this post is SULIT! pera14 |

Sorry, for the late reply. ALI last closed at 20.50 02/17/2012, actually most stocks are now trading at higher than normal valuation. Though most RSI/MACD and all other indicators in the short term pointed out is in an overbought condition this is justified in the back of stronger US economic data and Greece optimism and as foreign fund managers started to shift funds to emerging markets like the Philippines which btw has again hit a new all time high. In that regards, be careful, my instinct tells me that comes March/April the market will correct based on historical data. Although, most analyst believes PSEi will be at 5,000-5,200 level year end and it's not far away its only around 120 points, so expect a correction from our current level.
The key to good investment is not really picking the right stocks but financial literacy and diversification. Try to study a bit of fundamentals as well as technicals. Though most online trading platforms has already the research, so you really don't need to be an expert, you just have to know how to read between the lines of the report. Last piece of advice, don't believe right away in rumors. If the US has "Dow theory" here in the Philippines we call it "Daw Theory" Tataas daw...
Personal Disclosure: I worked in one of the top 20 equities brokerage firm listed in the PSE and I don't own any ALI as of this posting. Message appended on February 18, 2012 08:07AM@ primepropertypinas Right now the focus of the Philippines is into Mining, Energy, Tourism and Gaming. My personal pick for the long term are the following: EDC LR AGI UBP MA/MAB For the tsupiteros: BHI UPM 2 members think this post is SULIT! pera14, primepropertypinas View message logs amoroch: appended post on February 18, 2012 08:07AM amoroch: updated on February 18, 2012 08:00AM |

On my personal opinion, they are the most trustworthy in terms of system. Also, they are the only stock broker company that is listed also in the PSE.. |

amoroch Certified Sulitizen 142 posts | Aside from investing in the equities market, what other solid investment engines do you recommend to include in a person's financial portfolio? And, how does one get started? Thank you in advance! Well, before you start investing on sophisticated (E.g. equities, bonds) asset class. You better start with the simpliest, a savings account or time deposit where you first save at least 3-6 months of your expense to protect you from sudden events in your life. The key in having a good return in investment is proper asset allocation. The usual rule of thumb use by financial planners/adviser is 100 minus your age (E.g. 100 - 25) which we should invest in the equities assuming ceteris paribus. But then again, this is not a one size fits all. You better think of your needs, objectives and present financial condition. Happy Investing everyone!

Honest opinion, system wise you are correct as COL have there own propreitary system while the rest has technistock backbone. But if you want security with your money, better go with the banks (Metrobank, BDO, BPI and RCBC) as they have there own stock brokerage. If you are after research, probably the best thing to do is open an account with 2-3 brokerage houses. :)
