I've been trying to apply for a work lately. Because of my tattoo they turned me down? Question is because they think that a person who has one is a bad person? If so why make it general? Yung may mga tattoo lang ba ang capable of doing such crime, wrongfull doings, greedy, selfishness and atc.

Their are a lot of person who doesn't have a tatoo yet choose to make a wrongfull doings. Here are some issues that I would like to raise. I have meet somebody who doesn't have a tattoo yet he's way of living is a hired gunmen, other one he doesn't also have a tattoo yet a drug addict. Other personality we know of are some of our political leader others are in higher possition in the government highly educated person. They don't have a tattoo and yet involved in wrongfull doings.

I guess it is not a basis of you having a tattoo becoming a bad person when infact weather one has a tattoo or having none at all could be a bad person or good one. How about Manny Pacquiao he has a lot of tattoo, Angelina Jolie, Madonna just to name a few. They have tattooes yet a good person, has a good heart and god fearing. It is a wrong perception hope they don't critisize persons that have a tattoo not everyone who has one are a bad person.

I am proud to say this that all my life not a single case was filed against me even in barangay and police precinct zero blooter. Ako pa nga po ang niloko nung mga walang tattoo kya po im looking for a job to earn a living.

NO OFFENSE but...

some people get intimidated by tats and piercings.

it depends on the type of Job

it depends on if your tat is visible

if you will have exposure to clients or customers

i'm sorry but you will not get hired.

solution:

- look for a job where you will not need direct contact with clients - like a call center agent

- get higher education (masters degree, profesional services like lawyer, accountant, teacher)

- get your tat erased.

Ofcourse naman po my tattoo is in upper arm not visible naman po puede naman mag long sleeves to cover it up. Kahit naman po sa likod ayaw pa den nila hinde na naman visible unless you take off your shirt.

getting a higher education i guess will not still determine if you are a good person or not weather you have a tattoo or not. Look what is happening to our government officials very much highly educated yet involved into wrongfull doings. Generals, Justices, what else dami po.

Magiging ganun dn naman siguro sa ibang work specificaly private or government jobs.

Siguro depende sa work at position.

Like you posted in here.. Some people think that you are one of those people that are considered bad or one of those wrongdoing person when you have tattoo but in reality it's just an expression of art that you wanna share or carry it with you at all times that has meaning to you or your life.. It will all depends on HR management whether the tattoo will be a factor in hiring you or not but if it's not visible or if it something that you can cover up, you will have a chance in getting a job..just be upfront in telling them so at least there will be no surprises or at least they know that you are not hiding the fact that you have tattoo( if they ask ).. good luck in job hunting :)

it was linked to the convicts or ex-convicts.

also sometime back, people were very afraid of tattoos as there were no proper tools/equiptment to do these and were scared of the spread of AIDS.
