Is there really a point in doing this?  We're trying to stand up against a bully, but we'll end up the big loser.

Will it start something were the whole world can benefit from?

I think war, whether one will like it or not, is inevitable.

That's why we've had many wars and the most destructive WW1 and WW2 in the past.

While there is hope for eternal peace

man is by nature ferrocious and erroneous.

There will come a time that his satisfaction no longer suffices his warrants.

And he will wage a war.

War is as inevitable as history.

It will come.

The only problem is we don't know when

and who will start it.

But given the situation and indications now at the Scarborough Shoal,

China would be the best candidate to start it.

I think US will be on our side as it has always been.

They don't mislike China

but they do mistrust them, believe me.

In any case, war is here.

US will only be too happy to help us.

Did you know that US has been waiting for such in a long time?

That's also the reason why they are ver vocal about their stand on Taiwan.

If China goes to war with Taiwan, US will be just too willing to fight with Taiwan.

By the way, I am really proud that former General Douglas McArthur really defended this country.

I hate how the our system in the public teaching often neglect to pass on the leagcy of McArthur to the new generation.

I know a lot of leftist hates the US

but McArthur was just one of them

and he was or is a different person.

I still think that we owe it to him

our liberation from the Japanese during WW2.

Yes, the war would have ended eventually by then as the war in Pacific was nearing the end.

BUT, you will never can tell how it could have been different without the old McArthur helping us.

And I don't know if a lot of people do know this for a fact.

During the  so called "Island Hopping" campaign by the Allies to wage the war in the Pacific

McArthur kept insisting during one certain decision-making meeting of the generals that they liberate the Philippines first,

and to the point that a high ranking offical from washington had to fly over to the meeting to mediate between them

and McArthur had had his way.

God bless him.

And God bless Philippines for having him.

Hopefully, there will be no war and this will be solved in a peaceful manner. Kudos to the government for fighting for what is ours.

Sayang, there's too much money from these waters waiting to be tapped. Malaking tulong sa economy natin ito.

Relief teams are said to have reached the affected area in Minxian county.

County officials said many roads had been blocked, homes destroyed and farmland ruined by the rainstorms.

The downpours were said to have lasted only about an hour but brought up to 70mm of rain in some parts.

US and Filipino soldiers are seen on a boat during a joint mock beachfront assault on the shore of Ulugan Bay on Palawan island in April 2012. The Philippines says it has secured a pledge from its key military ally, the United States, that it would protect it from attacks in the South China Sea
