It's the issue of the economy and not a matter of crookness or tax evasion? Sure there are tax evasion cases, let the government do the job in fixing this and we will do our share. if, say, for the sake of argument, pinalayas mo lahat ng chinese dito? ano matitira na company dito? Ayalas, MVP, Aboitiz, Madrigal, Ortigas, Nepomucenos, Felicianos, Magsaysays, Cojuangcos (and the cojuangco clans are chinese as well),and a few more in the list who we can say qualify as filipino clans. Do you honestly think these less than a hundred rich clans can support the economy of the Philippines in whole? Do you know how many population we have right now? 93 million and going up. FedEx went to China, Intel went to China, Although Texas Instrument still stays. I've also had chinese employers on the past there were bad eggs really but I dare say not all of them. There were good ones, too. Ask any simple economist and they will have the same answer as mine, wether we like it or not - Philippine economy largely depends on the chinese produce, services, manufacturing.... import or export. if say a kid wants a toy to play with, or school supplies that he is going to use in school, or a clothes he is going to wear when he attends church on sundays, or food he eats on everyday? where will we get such? Or better yet, ask Mang Oscar who drives for a chinese manufacturing plant in valenzuela for the past 25 years, ask him where would he be if he didn't have a chinese crook boss to work for. So, I hope you agree that we disagree on this. Peace. 1 member thinks this post is SULIT! kagii |

| China is bullying us. the best response is not to man up to them. let's back down and play the role of an underdog. we can expect more allies by doing this. |

| even in your own little way, anyone wants to show that you are affected by these issues?
not even those items with obvious print 'made in china' on it, do you still buy them? even whilst this issue on Panatag Shoal is on going?
Nasan na ang dugo nina Jose Rizal at Andres Bonifacio sa atin? |

If so, then enjoy! Hello, Wait. Nowhere in the post that I said that we can not grow without the Chinese. Of course, we can. And nowhere also in the post that I have agreed to the bullying let alone na kamkamin nila ang teritoryo na supposed to be pag aari ng Pinas. If you happen to read a lot you can search my other thread topic where I have posted "China - Philippines Standoff" Please read. Anyway, I'm only stating the fact. if it was otherwise, I would also state it. mahirap naman kasi mag sinungaling kung hindi tutuo. Let alone to say blue is black, and black is blue. If you want and hope for a change - then that's a different issue. But whether you want the fact or not, our economy right now depends largely on these Chinese business na andito. Besides, who's to say, if Americans, Japanese, Europeans were here instead of the Chinese would our lives be that much better? The answer is we'll never know? But I get your point exactly, you would want us to stand on our own without any of the capitalist? Iisa lang naman ang solution dun kundi change this country into a communist system like into the like of North Vietnam. Then maybe, just maybe we will start enjoying to be really free from any capitalism. Anyway, to each his own. While we both agree to disagree let's respect each other's opinion. Peace.
