Formula for Success in MLM

I first learned about Network Marketing 15 years ago, back when Amway was just entering the Philippine Market.  Everyone was excited and rumbling about how good Amway was and the expectation that they will become millionaires if we join Amway right from the start.

But...

what really happened did not met all the hype and expectation.  I did join other companies and had a few success but not the 'real success' that I have always dreamed of.

Meeting Larry Lim...

I first met Larry Lim when a friend whom I was prospecting, introduced me to him.  He talked to me about Network Marketing without all the hype that most people in MLM do.  No showing of big checks, fancy cars, houses or cruises.  He just talked about sensible business points why I need to be involved in network marketing.

I was already sold to Network Marketing, but talking with Larry got me excited and somehow change my perspective on what Network Marketing really is!

He was the ephitome of who I wanted to become.  He had built a Network Marketing business that is present in 17 countries with 20,000 Network Marketers.  These are networkers not just distributors using the products but they are building the business.

What he taught me..

His Formula for Success:

RP + RC + RMP + RT + E = SUCCESS

RP - RIGHT PRODUCT.  Having the right product is essential for your success in a Network Marketing business.  Not only the quality should be on the highest standard, but it should has a UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION (industry creators) and that the products will cater a wide range of demographics.

RC - RIGHT COMPANY.  The company should have a good track record and can sustain growth.  Unfortunately 95% of start-up companies fold up before they reach two years.  So, look at companies that are above two years and if their track record shows that they have positive sales then this is a good company.

RMP - RIGHT MARKETING PLAN.  This should not only compensate you quickly but should compensate you on the long term.  Sorry, binary plans only support the short term.  Uni level are still the best and proven plan in the industry.

RT - RIGHT TIMING.  Timing is important.  The MOMENTUM stage is the right timing to join a company!

E - EFFORT.  your Effort is the key to building ANY business.  But you don't need to work hard, you just have to work SMART and SMARTER!

I know him, his name is famous in the network marketing industry...

By the way, Alex, dapat siguro dalawa yung RP dyan, yung una, Right Product, then yung pangalawa, Right Prospects. Find the right prospects. Di ba?

Well, Big Al is Tom Schrieter :)
I met him personally in one of his seminar about MLM


True, in order for you to grow big in your business is to find the right prospects and convert them to your leaders.  Most of those who have thousands of people under their group, started with just a few good front line leaders. 

So, don't think that you need to recruit all the people you know to be successful in this business.  You have to talked to them, yes, but if they reject you then it's an indication that they are not one of your leaders or maybe not the right time for them.

It is a numbers game but when you find 3 to 5 willing partners, then focus to get them started and build their legs 3 levels deep.
