Here's his facebook account: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000106305687

So here's what happened.

He messaged me about buying one of my items, let's just say it costs Php7000... he asked for a meet-up so he can verify it's original and all that. We had it verified and it failed, I called the manufacturer about it and they said it was an old model and the verification on the site is updated for the new models, meaning it won't work on the old ones. So, the transaction went as planned, and we both went home.

The next day, he messaged me on Facebook, asking if I had any more of the same item. He said he wants to buy another one with a different design. So, we arranged a meet-up near the place he works, and he told me that the item was FAKE. I told him that I even spoke with the manufacturer and verified to him that the ownership of the item was transferred to him. The manufacturer even confirmed to me that they had sent an e-mail to his account pertaining this matter.

He wanted his money back, unfortunately I wasn't bringing my ATM card (where I kept my earnings). His terms on this was unbelievable: he wanted me to leave the two items and my cellphone (what the hell?) with him until I give his money back. emoticon I tried to argue, asking him what my cellphone had to do with this (it was an iPhone, so I think he was also interested in it). His terms were steep, and based on previous experience, I became suspicious. But, since he made it look like I'm a scammer (even though I have sufficient proof that the items were authentic), I had no choice but to leave my merchandise and phone with him. I arranged for us to meet again the next day so that I can return his payment and get my items back. He wanted us to meet at 9am first, at our previous meeting place. I agreed.

The next day, he suddenly wanted to change the time to 9pm! He knows very well that I will not be able to get my items back at this hour since I live far away (he lives in Metro Manila and I live in Pampanga). I declined, saying that I needed my phone ASAP and I want to get the items back. He still seems reluctant so I asked him where he's going anyway. He said he was going to work.

I took precautions and decided to wait for him in the nearby LRT station (he told me beforehand that he uses the LRT to go to work). When I saw him, I gave him his money back, and he gave the phone back. To my annoyance, he's only bringing one of the items, and without the original packaging. He was even USING them! So much for not wanting the "fake" merchandise from a "scammer".

So, we agreed again to meet up some other time for me to get the other item. BIG MISTAKE. He never replied to any of my texts and he even blocked me on Facebook.  emoticon

Summary: I lost 7000 pesos, an authentic item still with warranty, and almost lost another 7000 pesos and my phone.  emoticon

His name is Vhinz Castro Javier. I think he either works or lives near Bambang St., Manila. Again, here is his Facebook profile (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000106305687). I remember his e-mail address as vhinzcastro_2005@yahoo.com or something similar..

Thanks for reading this and I hope he doesn't fool anybody again. Too bad I don't have his number anymore..

Well, it was the only way out at the time, he won't have it any other way. I didn't trust him, but there was no other way. Haha, I feel stupid.  emoticon

I agree. I intend to confront him, wait for him at the same LRT station one day and just ask for my item. Just in case, is there anything the law can do if he won't return them? I still have complete transaction details and conversations...

Besides, I think his style is kind of new, I've never heard or read anything like it...
