That's a nice project, I guess if you can fit an Isuzu diesel engine, it will feel more somewhat connected, as GM also owns Isuzu. I believe they are selling brand new 4JA1 or 4JB1 engines, if you have the budget.

true! isuzu is partly GM para hindi maging chopsuey... the 2.5 isuzu 4ja1 diesel engine is enough to power the S10 /compact pickup na gamit din ng isuzu tfr/ls series pickup/crosswind. while the bigger 4jb1 2.8 used on elf/trooper be more powerfull, mas lalakas din fuel consumption...

have seen units in pampanga/zambales areas fitted with c-240

i myself own a chevy pickup with an isuzu 4ba1 diesel engine

used for luzon wide deliveries!

pang mitsubishi canter light trucks (ok ito sa "dodge ram") medyo overkill sa s-10/compact pickup na kasing laki lang ng hilux/L200/frontier

mas suitable yan than 4d36... 4d56 used on L200,L300,delica,adventure,pajero's from the norm N/A to turbo to TDIC variants madmi parts sa market at may korean conterpart pa (hyundai porter/starex) na same engine specs.

Nissan SD33.

Malaking agwat ang 4 cylinder diesel clatter sa nasanayan mong tunog ng V6 gas.

Kung may V6 diesel lang sana pero I've never heard of it.
