Is homosexuality morally good, or bad? Is it acceptable or not acceptable? What impact and influence would homosexuality make in our present and future society? I need your ideas, guys. Thanks so much :-)

thanks for your ideas, guys.

Actually, according to Medical research, AIDS and venereal diseases are linked to sexual encounters between same-sex partners. A study conducted by the US Center for Disease Control showed that “82 percent of all known sexually-transmitted AIDS cases in 2006 were the result of male-to-male sexual contact. Moreover, gay and bisexual men account for more than 60 percent of syphilis cases.”[1] Others allege that homosexual relationships disrupt a society by undermining the importance of conventional families. This happens when people in a society are conditioned to regard same-sex unions as an equally valid alternative lifestyle. Then there are those who see homosexuality as an deliberately offense act against God, who created “male and female” and commanded them to reproduce (Genesis 1:27-28).

Are these arguments compelling enough to cause Filipinos to reject homosexuality as an alternative sexual orientation? What are your ideas? What do you think?

hate the sin not the sinner..
lahat tayo capable of sinning..
yung tanong mo na kung Morally bad..depends where you base your morals.
is it accepatable? yes di ba sa larangan ng art namamayagpag sila at napaparangaln pa.
ngayon pa lang nagseseek na sila ng equality sa lahat ng bagay di ba?so i think in the future magiging mas vocal
ang homosexuality sa lahat ng aspeto..walang choice ang society but to accept..
my morals is base sa bible so for me talagang mali yan..pero sabi ko nga hate the sin not the sinner..

if i happen to be a gay - i wonder if you would have accepted me in the first place?

Hate the sin and leave the sinner

but how would you forget the sinner who commits the sin.

pero, in fairness, i like what you say about this.

di na talaga mawawala yan, we have to accept it. sa ibang bansa they already accepted their stature in society.

Hindi ako kumporme sa homosexuality. Sila yung mga tinatawag na factory defects, dahil dapat ay you are either a male or a female.

so, twoleo, are you saying that a person who have the tendency to be a homosexual can choose not to be one and can decide to act like a man in accordance How God created man and woman? are you saying that homosexuality is a choice?

This has been a very long issue since the beginning...

--> siguro the best solution is to just accept them as a member of our society... unawain na lang, sila nga ang mas hirap dahil sa pagpunta pa lang ng CR di na nila alam kung san sila papasok... waaahhh

Hi dappy! thanks for sharing your thoughts. Actually, I agree with you, "hate the sin and not the sinner".

you said that you base your morals in the Bible. In my research, i found a verse in the Bible that says, "...do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

Does this mean that homosexuality is unrighteousness in the sight of God? What can you say about this?

What does it mean to, "not hate the sinner"?

The Bible also says that, "'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:31).

So, if we have to love the "homosexuals", Does Mark 12:31 compel us to at least help the homosexuals to turn away from homosexuality because it is not morally good and acceptable to God and inturn embrace the standard of manhood that God had already ordained during the time of creation so that they will also inherit the kingdom of God?

Any thoughts on this?

thanks so much. :-)

Well, they exist, aren't they? what else is there to believe that they don't.

but, then again if we limit our reasoning based only in the bible - then we are doomed.

Folks, earth is just starting to grow as well as the modern society,

a billion years from now (if you happen to cyrogenized yourself and be lucky to alive by then)

you would be blown away by the kind of society that they might have billions of years from now.

Topic:

Gays are humans, too.

So my respect goes out to them as well as my respect for any man or any woman for that matter.

Ginusto man nila yan or hindi, kung choice ba yan talaga or hindi, who are we to judge them?

Well, you could judge them of course by using a very lame excuse which is the bible.

I'd rather judge a person by his heart and wisdom than by his /her sexual nature or preference.

You say, it's a choice?

Okay, simply answer this, say, you want to become an enginer because it's a choice and you want to choose to be one.

Now, would you cling to the idea of being an engineer just because it is a choice?

When in fact pwede ka naman pala maging isang magaling na abogado or kusinero?
