That's a good idea. Sa dami ng manloloko na ginagamit ang online ads (bogus buyer/sellers) as their new spot of getting victims.

hmmm. if sulit does that they might start charging a fee both for the seller and the buyer.

I still think the best way for a safe and secured transaction is to use diligence and by being extra careful.

But on the other hand...

if you carefully look at most number of scams in the recent days - they all pertain to almost the same circumstances:

I think what's best for sulit to do instead is - fortify nila yun campaign or yun awareness ng mga lurkers or even long time members about scam.

Come to think of it, and the sulit admin might not like me for saying it,

but isn't it almost everyday may na sscam - then may gagawa ng thread na na-scam sya then mag mag comment lang ang sulit na

"please see this link (about scam)."

I'm sure sulit admin is aware of this and they might be thinking about ways to prevent scam

but i think at the present rate the scammers are thriving - it should be soon, very soon.

One serious and immediate way is to put more awareness sa mga buyers- na hindi na kailangan na matagal pang panahon para ma implement and it can be done very soon;

maybe sa page mismo nung ads or s ahomepage ng sulit mismo they could put up notice or warnings like:

"Beware of scammers"

I know this doesn't sit well sa mindset ng isang online site dahil nakakasira din ng reputation at overall look or impression but

we cannot also deny the fact that there are people being scammed almost everyday.

I hope sulit will really consider this thought - very soon.

Remember the cigarette packing here and how this government took ages before they finally implemented the warning on the label? 'Took them more than five decades to put a "three-line phrase" on a mere 1inch x 2 inches on the packing!

This is Philippines:

This is Australia:

i dont mind paying a premium for buyer protection. i am one of the sellers at multiply with trusted seller badges.i get more sales because of this too. so kung serious seller ka, paying a premium siguro is not a big deal, after all you want to guarantee your legitimacy as a seller and you want to attract more buyers as well.

siguro dapat gayahin ni sulit si multiply. after all, sister companies sila diba?

Well, in that case, those who want to be charged be charged

and those who do now want to - not be charged.

Let us all hope for the best!  emoticon

i think the best buyer protection is information dissemination. Even sites like Ebay eh marami biktima na. kahit may percentage sila kada sale or may qualified seller churva pa. just look at craiglist now, simple lang pero umaangat. pero ang laki ng note nila sa buyers and sellers. information like this must be free for all and let the people choose wisely for themselves too. ilan ba ang ratio ng scams sa successful sales? out of 10 transactions, 3:10?
