Argnanisaldua Elite Sulitizen 564 posts | fortuner - matigas ang ride, - too wide for inner city streets - marami ng surplus parts sa banawe montero - there's a reason they call it the fortuner killer - check out the diesel variant Sta. Fe - expensive - but very luxurious, has more bells and whistles of the 3 - ride is smooth - medyo masikip - of the 3 you are choosing from, this is the least carnapped vehicle ** bottom line: how many are you in the family? - will your wife / children drive the vehicle? |

| Hyundai sta fe gets my vote! i already tried to drive those 3, pero hyundai sta fe talaga ang vote ko. pero kung kasama sa choices ang honda pilot, dun ako =) sama mo din sa choices ang ford escape /everest ganda din ng ride ng ford escape drive it from makati to tuguegarao balikan 5k lang ang consume ng gas my tira pa and hey thats 3.0 v6 gas engine! bilib ako sa durability ng ford escape at yung pagka balance ng body. kahit super curve at sa mga zigzag panis hehe. dami pa namin naka sabay na montero at fortuner nung paakyat kami tuguegarao pero ewan ko parang naiiwan namin sa akyatan and kahit mabilis na takbo mo like 120-140 parang 60 lang ang takbo maybe its because ang ganda ng suspension at ride sa loob very relaxing. plague143333 Supreme Sulitizen 838 posts | if you have budget for the Sta.Fe, yun na sir kunin mo. The montero is long. baka mahirapan ang wife and daughter mo mag drive. OK na din ang Hyundai for a korean car maker. Bring your family and get inside the sta.Fe sa hyundai dealer nearest you. Malamang pag uwi nyo, dala dala nyo na yun. |

| Pwede mo din idagdag yung Isuzu Alterra awarded yan last 2006 as the best SUV. Pero sa choices mo, I'll go for Fortuner (diesel), Toyota yan maraming parts. |

mahdy Elite Sulitizen 769 posts | if you are in to really saving some money when it comes to fuel consumption, don't take big engine suv's, you can't have it all like ride being smooth while you are trying so stretch your peso on fuel consumption. we have been calling those type of cars as SUV but none of them really complies being sporty, being sporty means more fuel consumption and comes with a gasoline engine not diesel. so if what you need is something that can accommodate your number in a family, all you mentioned are great except it should come with a manual transmission. no automatic transmission engine is fuel economy. i have an F-150 4.2 liter gasoline, and for me its the real SUV, whole family can jumped in with comfort plus some more on its back. though its a 4.2 liter gasoline 100 octane, its a manual transmission, i can choose when to change my gear and goes 5.9km/liter city driving, more on a highways with its OverDrive. and parking is never a problem, i can park it even on the gutter high as 18 inches. |

| We used to have Fortuner. Performance wise okay siya, mas maluwag kesa sa Montero pero mas swabe manakbo ng Montero. i think your daughter can drive it. Ako I'm driving our Montero to school at kaya naman. i actually like big cars mas madaling sumingit kasi lagi pinagbibigyan (usually, hehe). Montero has nice multimedia touch screen navigator.
You can also consider Subaru Forester. hihi. I love driving it! Perfect for your daughter. ;) Super lambot at napaka-safe na sasakyan. |

| I'd choose the new Kia Sorento over the Santa Fe. Same powertrain but has 4WD. Roomier 3rd seats, has panoramic roof, is bigger..etc. Sayang nga lang because what made Hyundai-Kia better than the rest aside from being well-equipped was their competitive pricing. Ngayon, umasenso nalang eh sky rocket na yung presyo pero when you check other countries halos ganun parin ka competitive yung presyo ng Hyundai-Kia. Dito lang saten tumaas ng husto. |
