the problem with LPG converted vehicles is

Leakage

the LPG used for these vehicles is not the same as the LPG we use at home for cooking

there is no smell

 

So it could already be leaking and you wouldn't know until it's too late - kaboom!

ofcourse kung maingat ka at parati mo chinecheck ok lang naman

 

but then why buy such an expensive vehicle kung worried ka sa gas?

you can buy 4 Van's (L300, APV, Urvan, Foton) for the price of 1 suburban

powerloss, shorter engine life... gusto nyo ba naka ngaga/open hood nyo like most converted taxicabs? bihira refueling stations sa provincial areas and worst of all baka magka FREE TV kayo!

thanks for this.  really useful.  i actually own one and am selling it na because I might be leaving the country for good.  the problem is, I cannot sell it easy dahil sa fuel consumption.  someone told me about converting it to LPG because it will reduce the cost dramatically.  I'm thinking that if this method is indeed good, I might as well include discussing it when dealing with a potential buyer.

 

offer your suburban sa mga politicos at a discounted price. personally i would love to own a suburban. but yes nakakatakot ang fuel consumption niya. parang idling lang yata sa trapik eh 1 liter na.

The best and most practical way is to retrofit the suburban with a diesel engine; like yung ginagamit na makina ng mga pampasaherong jeeps.
