Imagine an area where there is a grocery, a pharmacy, and a mini-food court set-up. The food court place sells donuts, waffles and siomai only. Question, as a customer, would you rather see a) an additional pearl shake store or b) an additional tapsilog store i am planning to put up a food cart on such a said set-up area. but am having a bit of trouble deciding on the concept. Thank you!

I would go for (a) because it supplements the other foods being sold by the food court. (b) is out of place and there's a probability that it willnever be patronized, except on the morning hours only.

The problem with cold or iced drinks, seasonal kasi yan. Kapag ganitong bumabagyo mahina, kapag summer maganda ang kita.

Same with twoleo, i'll go with choice A.
Mas less ang ang capital at production / operating expense

But why pearl shake and not "fresh fruit shakes?"
kasi yan ang "in" ngayon because of the high inclination ng tao sa healthy natural food trend.
If you notice that's the reason why even zago has expanded their line and added natural.

saka mas flexible ang options mo pag fresh shakes unlike pag pearl shake composed / constant na yun ingedients dun sa mix whereas sa fruits you can have the widest selection and you can even come with your own blends.

Tips / Suggestions:
Pag fresh shake try to use / incorporate whole powder milk and fresh milk.
For God's sake do not use "evap milk" in fresh shake.

I beg to disagree with the "seasonal challenge"
if you remember ganyan din ang concern nun nag sstart ang zago that time.
but now it just proves that the market preference for seasonal food can actually be altered.

if I were you go with the fresh shakes.

I like pearl shakes better than tapsilog, I even think that it is a good idea coz it's much easier to prepare and could go along with donuts and waffles hehe

yun lang tingin ko kasi mahina kapag ganitong season pero kapag summer it's like a block buster movie haba ng pila.

Pwede naman evap like what they most use dyan sa mga mall kiosk

but fresh milk and a bit of whole milk of course is deliciously much much better and creamier of course.

Depends on what pearl shakes you are putting up.

- these days people go for the old traditional (Zagu, Quickly, Ersao)

- Pag generic madalas mahina ang sales

- Go for the tapsilog,

- then sell gulaman, bottled water, juice, soft drinks

- the people buying the donuts etc. could be attracted to buy your beverages

if you have the capital, why not try to start both at the same time. these 2 differ from each other. and may be sold out together. kung malakas ang demand, damihan mo supply. kung mahina, prepare less para di malugi, unless you are planning to avail a package of consignment
